ICAO-FIATA Dangerous Goods by Air Training Programme goes to the Republic of Korea!

On 31 May, FIATA had the opportunity to share about the ICAO-FIATA Dangerous Goods by Air Training Programme on 'The Future of Civil Aviation Training in a Digital World' panel at the ICAO Global Implementation Support Symposium 2023.

FIATA Director General Stéphane Graber emphasised the increasing importance that the learning experience and storytelling will have on training success over pure content delivery, the digital transformation and use of AI in applied learning, and the complementary nature of people and machines. The different variations of training were also analysed, with summaries of the potential disadvantages of digital-only training.

The speakers of the panel also exchanged on their experiences of Competency-based Training Assessment (CBTA), with FIATA sharing examples from its joint Dangerous Goods by Air Training Programme.
