Deep dive into the discussion topics to bring the industry forward together!

Uniting for Resilience
The 2024 FIATA HQ Meeting will delve into critical themes shaping the current logistics industry. Emphasising the necessity of resilient multimodal supply chains, the event will address, among others,  contractual practices in maritime supply chains, the importance of data quality and electronic data transfer, regional challenges in airfreight, and new customs and border clearance regulations. Furthermore, the meeting aims to unite FIATA Association Members to shape the future workforce of the industry, focusing on attracting and nurturing young talent.

Session Format
Building on the success of the workshop-style format introduced in the 2023 meeting, the 2024 FIATA HQ Meeting will once again adopt a dynamic approach to facilitate active participation and collaboration among delegates from all FIATA Regions to foster meaningful, inclusive dialogue and actionable outcomes to help the FIATA membership in their freight forwarding endeavours. Workshops will be organised to address specific themes, allowing for in-depth discussions and the exchange of ideas.

Objectives
FIATA will address challenges and opportunities such as artificial intelligence, the Digital FIATA Multimodal Bill of Lading (Digital FBL), multiple filing implementation in pre-loading advance cargo information (PLACI), and Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) programmes, aiming to mitigate the impact of the impending economic uncertainty and uniting the industry for greater resilience in an uncertain world.

What is the Coffee and Learn and what can it bring you?

One of the Coffee and Learn sessions focuses on FIATA's sustainability endeavours alongside our Partner, Pledge. Companies in many parts of the world will need to start reporting CO2 emissions, particularly within the EU's regional context. To facilitate this, FIATA will integrate Pledge's emissions calculator into its website

Witness the unveiling of this milestone at FIATA’s HQ Meeting where Pledge will conduct an interactive demonstration on how to utilise the calculator, and will explain the data gathered through these calculations and their significance for businesses in forthcoming reporting requirements.

The second Coffee and Learn presents to you the fresh faces in FIATA, the Federation’s structure and best practices to make the most of your FIATA Membership.
