FIATA World Congress Heads to Addis Ababa in 2027
Milan, Italy, 10 October 2026 – Following the success of the 2026 FIATA World Congress in Milan, Italy, the global freight forwarding and logistics community will reconvene in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from 5 to 7 October 2027 for the next edition of FIATA’s flagship annual event.
The 2026 Congress brought together industry leaders, freight forwarding professionals, policymakers and international organisations to exchange perspectives on the challenges and opportunities shaping global logistics. As FIATA concludes its centenary celebrations in Milan, the focus now turns to the next chapter for the Federation and the profession it represents.
The 2027 FIATA World Congress will provide another opportunity for the international logistics community to connect, share expertise and explore practical responses to an evolving global trade environment. Its setting in Addis Ababa will bring renewed attention to Africa’s role in global supply chains, regional connectivity and the development of logistics networks that support international trade.
As freight forwarders continue to navigate geopolitical uncertainty, changing trade routes, digital transformation and growing demands for supply chain resilience, the Congress will serve as a platform for industry dialogue and collaboration across regions and markets.
