Following the successful inaugural FIATA-Region Europe Field Meeting held in Prague in early September, FIATA is set to participate in the Third International Logistics Conference in Bosnia and Herzegovina—an important event for the Balkan region.

The conference will take place on 16–17 October 2025 in Sarajevo, featuring the participation of FIATA Immediate Past President, Mr Turgut Erkeskin, who will deliver a keynote address during the opening session alongside the President of the International Road Transport Union (IRU), Mr Radu Dinescu.

On 17 October, the FIATA Director General, Dr Stéphane Graber, will join a panel discussion on Green and Sustainable Logistics, which will open the second day of the conference. This panel is closely aligned with FIATA’s ongoing work in digitalising the logistics industry and will explore the intersection of green practices and digital transformation. The discussion will go beyond environmental sustainability to address the business sustainability of freight forwarders, focusing on how they can remain competitive in a rapidly evolving landscape.

The conference will be preceded by a Masterclass, held in conjunction with the FIATA Diploma in Freight Forwarding Ceremony. On this occasion, the FIATA Director General will deliver a keynote on the future of logistics, highlighting the transformation of skills required for industry professionals to thrive in the era of Logistics 3.0.
