In Memoriam: Honouring Suwit Ratanachinda

FIATA announces with deep sorrow the passing of Suwit Ratanachinda, a highly respected leader in the international freight forwarding and logistics community, who passed away on Sunday, 18 May.

Suwit devoted his life to advancing the logistics industry in Thailand and beyond. As former President of the Thai International Freight Forwarders Association (TIFFA), Honorary Chair of the TIFFA Board of Directors, and former FIATA Senior Vice President (2009–2011), he played a pivotal role in fostering the development and modernisation of freight forwarding practices throughout the region.

A dedicated FIATA Member, Suwit was known for his professionalism, generosity, and unwavering commitment, qualities that left a profound and lasting impact on all who had the privilege to work alongside him.

Beyond being a distinguished leader, he was a mentor and trusted friend to many within the global freight forwarding community.

FIATA extends its deepest condolences to his family, colleagues, and the wider logistics community. He will be remembered with the highest respect and gratitude.
