Future Leaders of Logistics: 2025 YLP Regional Winners Announced!

FIATA is proud to unveil the 2025 Regional Winners of the Young Logistics Professionals (YLP) Award, an initiative that highlights our continued commitment to supporting and promoting the next generation of logistics professionals.

The 2025 Regional Winners are:

  • Region Africa and the Middle East: Abdelaziz Ilzeen, AFFM, Morocco
  • Region Americas: Elsa Alicia Montserrat Llarena Jimenez, AMACARGA, Mexico
  • Region Asia-Pacific: Lingjiao Li, CIFA, China
  • Region Europe: Menno Petrus Johannes van Noort, FENEX, Netherlands

FIATA extends its congratulations to the 4 regional winners, whose submissions demonstrated a solid grasp of the complexities involved in global cargo movement, from multimodal transport and compliance to sustainability and innovation.

The YLP Award remains a key initiative in nurturing the next generation of logistics professionals, offering finalists valuable international exposure and a platform to share their ideas with the wider logistics community.

This year’s FIATA World Congress (FWC) will take place during 6-10 October in Hanoi, Vietnam, a dynamic and growing logistics hub in Southeast Asia. With its strategic trade position and expanding infrastructure, Hanoi provides an ideal environment for dialogue and collaboration across the sector.

Alongside the expert panel assessment, which carries the greatest weight in the final score, attendees of the FWC will also have the opportunity to take part in selecting this year’s Global YLP Winner. During the YLP Award Session, taking place on 8 October 2025, the audience will cast their votes for the candidate they believe best embodies the spirit of innovation in logistics. These votes will be factored into the final decision, with the winner announced at the FWC Gala Dinner in Hanoi. To ensure an equitable process, voters will not be permitted to select the finalist representing their own region.
