There are two main types of diplomas based on the FIATA Minimum Standards.
FIATA Association Members deliver the courses leading to the FIATA Diplomas. Today, almost 50 Association Members deliver the courses leading to the FIATA Diploma in Freight Forwarding and about 15 Associations Members deliver the courses leading the FIATA Higher Diploma in Supply Management.

For national associations, delivering the diploma(s) ensures that there are sufficient and adequate learning opportunities for their members. This will enable them to have a trained workforce that meets a global standard and the needs of their own members to hire skilled employees.
For learners, enrolling in the training programmes is an excellent opportunity to become more competent in freight forwarding and acquire the necessary skillset that can only be obtained through education. This will facilitate progress in their career, especially in light of the global outlook and international recognition of the FIATA Diplomas.
